Backflow incense cone holder deer – Archaic smoke burning art for the Yule festival - Item no.: RÄH031
The incense cone holder comes securely packaged in recycled cushioning material, measuring 21x7cm and weighing 840g.
This backflow incense cone holder depicts the stag as a powerful, pagan symbol of renewal, protection, and connection between the worlds. The stag's body is crafted using traditional smoke-firing techniques – each piece bears the marks of fire and tells its own story of earth, smoke, and transformation.
The antlers, made of rusted metal, lend the sculpture an archaic depth and connect the element of fire with the permanence of metal. When you light the backflow incense cone, the smoke glides gently down the stag, enveloping it in a mystical, almost ritualistic interplay of movement and stillness.
This unique piece is not just an incense burner, but a symbol of the Yule festival and the pagan roots of winter. It is beautifully suited as an altar ornament, seasonal decoration, or spiritual gift for those who appreciate the primal power of fire and earth.
I am happy to implement commissioned work or my own ideas for a specific piece of work, provided it is compatible with my way of working.
