Traditionally fired clay – hand rattle for solar power, fire rituals and summer rituals
The Litha rattle comes securely packaged in recycled cushioning material, measuring 8x7cm and weighing 330g.
This hand rattle is dedicated to the festival of Litha – the time of the highest light, the warming sun and full vitality.
Shaped from traditionally fired clay and smoke-fired, it bears the marks of fire, earth, and handcraft. Each rattle is created freely and individually, which is why shape, size, color, and weight may vary slightly. Every piece is unique.
The hollow body, when gently moved, produces a clear, earthy sound that doesn't push outwards but rather captures the moment. It's not a musical instrument, but a sound object that follows its own rhythm and creates an awareness of presence and energy.
The design incorporates archaic symbols:
the sun as a source of life and warmth,
the fire symbol for transformation and power,
The spiral of life as a symbol of movement, growth and cyclical becoming.
This rattle is suitable for fire rituals, summer rituals, Litha ceremonies, or for any moment when life force, gratitude, and inner clarity are to be consciously accompanied.
It is not a decorative object,
but a tool for attention and connection.
