Ostara Bowl – Archaic egg-shaped planter made from traditionally fired clay
Ostara Bowl – Archaic egg-shaped planter made from traditionally fired clay
Hand-shaped, broken eggshell as a symbol of new beginnings – for spring, Easter and quiet rituals.
The container, measuring approximately 11x6x6cm and weighing 530g, arrives securely packaged in recycled cushioning material.
This bowl tells the story of the moment of breaking apart.
From the fine crack in the casing.
About life seeking its way outwards.
Its shape is reminiscent of a broken eggshell – an archaic symbol of birth, transformation, and new beginnings. As a planter, it offers space for soil, seeds, small plants, or delicate harbingers of spring. At the same time, even without plants, it stands as a silent object with a commanding presence.
It is suitable as a decoration for Ostara and Easter, for the seasonal table, the altar, or a special place in your home. Not loud, not decorative in the conventional sense – but calm, grounded, and meaningful.
Each bowl is hand-shaped and fired using the traditional smoke-firing method. The dark nuances, the vibrant surface, and the traces of fire emerge in dialogue with the elements. No two are alike. Each possesses its own movement, its own story.
