Shrine of Transformation – Guardian of the Sun and Moon
Shrine of Transformation – Guardian of the Sun and Moon
Archaic tealight and incense shrine made of fired clay · Altar for offerings
The shrine comes to you securely packaged in recycled cushioning material, measuring 14x14x10cm and weighing 1.35kg.
This work depicts a cloaked figure, shaped like a shrine.
She stands still, collected, turned inwards – a guardian of transition.
The sun and moon are incorporated into the clay: symbols of rhythm, contrasts, and the balance between light and dark.
Made from traditionally fired clay, this shrine follows an archaic art form that does not explain, but rather holds space.
It can be used as a tea light holder, incense burner or altar for offerings – depending on the moment, need or ritual.
The light from the flame escapes through the shape to the outside, while the smoke collects calmly inside.
Whatever is placed inside – herbs, resins, stones or small offerings – is kept, not evaluated.
This shrine is not an object for a quick glance. It is a place.
For gathering, alignment, and conscious action.
Each piece is a hand-shaped, unique item – shaped by clay, fire, and its own creation process.
Slight irregularities are part of his speech.
