Primordial Mother Earth Rattle – Hand Rattle of Mother Earth – Archaic Sound Object with Cotton Band

Traditionally fired clay using a smoke firing process – an earthy hand rattle as a companion for rituals, grounding and connection.

The rattle comes securely packaged in recycled cushioning material, measuring 14x7cm and weighing 430g.

This hand rattle is dedicated to the primordial mother –
that silent, sustaining force that underlies all life.

Shaped from traditionally fired clay and finished in a smoke firing, it bears the marks of fire, earth, and time. The surface remains unglazed, warm, and earthy. Each rattle is handmade and unique – similar in expression, yet never identical in shape, color, or weight.

The hollow clay body produces a soft, deep sound when gently moved. It's not an instrument in the classical sense, but a sound object that accompanies the moment and makes one's own rhythm audible. The sound is not loud – it gathers, grounds, and leads inward.

The rattle is equipped with a cotton band and can be held in the hand, placed above the altar, or used as a silent companion during rituals, meditation, or transitions.

She represents the connection to Mother Earth,
for remembering origin, body and cycle –
not as a symbol in the mind, but as an experience in the hand.
